meet your painter
My name is Joe Soucy. I live right here in Rhode Island, and I operate Different Strokes Painting, LLC intentionally as a dedicated single-operator craft studio.
At the end of the day, a high-end paint transformation isn’t just about chemical data sheets and crisp, microscopic lines—it’s about welcoming strangers into your private living space. When you hire my firm, you aren't dealing with a detached salesman or an anonymous, rotating crew. You get me. I am the person who answers your call, shakes your hand, double-wraps your floors in canvas protection, and hand-carves every single finish line on your walls.
I run my business on absolute honesty, clear communication, and personal care. Whether I'm engineering a flawless restoration layout for a historic estate in Providence, or simply refreshing a room to make it clean and comfortable for your family, I treat your property with the exact same respect I show my own. I build my reputation on being reliable, easy to talk to, and completely transparent from the initial walkthrough to the final sign-off.
